Day I brought little baby dog home.   His name is Lothar.  Shannon hates my carrier but I love it.   Not sure he’s too crazy about it.    He looks like a dope addict same as Argus.

May 21 is national go topless day – take off those jeep tops and have a ball.

I haven’t posted pictures of all the new plants Jerry & Linda put in for me because I need to get them all mulched, trimmed etc.  Once it’s done and looks nice I’ll post those.   I did get started on the driveway.   So tired of it being all mud when it rains and having to mulch every year.  This year I decided to do the limestone or what they call 57 stone.   Thanks to son-in-law and neighbor it all got shoveled in one night.  Pictures are kinda dark when we finished.   Still have some leftover to shovel into the flower beds.

 

Have some love you need to give away.  This little blue tick coon hound needs a forever home.   I’ve always wanted one but with 3 pom puppies and a cat I’m at capacity.

Great day to honor our mom’s.  Mine is gone but truly missed.  I got this amazing arrangement from Shannon along with my favorite carrot cake.

I been so plowed under that I haven’t had a chance to keep up with my blog.  I’m trying to be more diligent this year and add some new stuff, get more followers, etc.    But I just finished the second raffle quilt and it will be delivered today.    Came out so much prettier than the pictures show.  I think there were too many colors for the digital phone to focus on.   I added a few close ups of the colors

 

I have loved my little Cr-Z and am trying to keep that loving feeling but I don’t think it’s going to stay with me.   I rarely watch the regular TV and never the news so 2 weeks ago was the first I heard about recall of Honda airbags and only because I got a notice from Honda.   The notice says contact local dealer immediately.  Since that notice I have contact 3 local dealers and been told by all 3 that it was just an initial notice alerting me of the issue and I would get a follow up when they have parts to repair.  Maybe June or July.  I went back and read the notice and no where does it say that, it says contact dealer for repair.  So I googled it and Honda has known about the problem for a few years yet it’s the first I’ve heard and I bought my car 2 years ago.  Does that mean they knew it was dangerous when they initially installed it?  Are the notices saying call for repairs so they aren’t to blame when one explodes?  I wondered, but now I am sure.

This morning I hear there was another Honda airbag death yesterday.  Honda’s response according to Good Morning America was they issued recall notices but the repairs were never made.  So it’s the owners fault?  Not once in a news story I could find did it mention Honda issued the recall but is not repairing the cars.  Never will I buy a Honda again.

What I did learn asking an attorney about Honda not repairing it was interesting.  I’ve been made aware of the faulty air bag so if I loan someone my car and they are killed by the air bag, they can now sue me along with Honda since I knew of the issue and loaned them my car.  What?

I didn’t realize when the “friends” living at the house painted the back bedroom chocolate colors that they never painted the bathroom.  I don’t know how you can live some place 5 months and play video games every night after work instead of finishing something as simple as painting a bathroom.  I guess some have no ambition but live and let live I guess.

Anyway, I purchased all new rugs and curtains to make it chocolate and teal.  Not a favorite color of mine but couldn’t decide what to put with chocolate.  Should have looked first as they never painted it and it was still yellow.   So now it’s teal and yellow.  Still pretty I think
