We Still Miss Her

Earlier this year we lost our girl Kiljeadean aka Killy. I can only hope we gave her a good life and she knew she was loved. The boys wandered around for days looking for her. She’s been with them their whole lives. I’m a firm believer heaven will have our pets when we get there.

2024 Quilts

Just a list of my 2024 quilts that may or may be be posted here already. Later I’ll update some 2026 things. My friend Claudia has been a lifesaver cutting up a plethora of quilts for me. She’s like the every ready battery bunny of quilt cutting. I can’t begin to say much its appreciated.

2023 Quilts

One of my 2 or 3 readers said she thinks I missed several quilts. So rather than tons of posts let’s try this. Here are all of my quilts finished in 2023. Sorry if they are already here in prior posts.

Random 2025

Just a couple of random 2025 pictures. One is Robert patiently lol, waiting on our new phones. I rarely have pictures of him so thought I’d add. Another is an old memory that popped up in my pictures of a domino tournament with my mom and I.

Last Of The 2025 Quilts

These 3 were gifts rather than prayer quilts.

Each time I go to my thyroid and breast doctors they have pretty quilts hanging a patient made them. I decided my heart doctor needed one and what else for a cardiologist except a giant red heart. Pattern is called Exploding Heart and I used random reds for the heart.

The 2nd and 3rd are nearly identical unless you could see the actual blocks up close. I made them as Christmas gifts for our pastors wives. I didn’t want anyone saying one was prettier than the other so I used the same fabrics for both.

Prayer Quilts for November

The first one’s colors were so outside my comfort zone but I think I like the final look. Its a jelly roll hexagon I gifted for a prayer quilt.

2nd one is a prayer quilt using pattern called BQ with a Kaffe Fasset out of print fabric.

3rd one is one I’ve wanted to try for a long time. Uses Philip Jacobs prints called agate and pattern is called Chopsticks.

October 2025 Quilts

Like I said, my life is mostly work and quilts so the most of what you’ll see here are quilts lol.

The first is an octagon using Moda fabric. I thought this wouldn’t actually work. I’ve never tried using an ombre fabric before but love this when it was finished. I think I might have enough left over to make another.

The 2nd one one is another hexagon using another Philip Jacobs fabric called agate.

3rd one was for a friends baby. Used Tula Pink pom and stripe fabrics. Mom sent a picture once baby was born.
